In Memoriam

Migdalia Jordan is a Trusts and Estates Attorney at Manice Budd & Baggett LLP with proven experience in guardianship, probate, and estate planning law supported by a Master of Arts in Social Work that enhances client advocacy in sensitive legal matters.

Migdalia graduated from Florida State University with a B.A. in Political Science and International Affairs. She earned an M.A. in Social Work at Florida Atlantic University, which has been invaluable during the many cases she’s handled involving family dynamics. She completed her J.D. from Ave Maria School of Law.

While an undergraduate student at Florida State University, Migdalia was a certified guardian for the Second Judicial Circuit of the Guardian Ad Litem Program in Florida. This program, which allows specialists and legal professionals to advocate in courtroom proceedings for the best interests of children who were alleged to be abused, neglected, or abandoned, sparked her passion for advocacy and cemented her decision to start a legal career. It also convinced her to earn her Master of Arts in Social Work, so she could be an even stronger advocate for families in tough/delicate legal situations. Migdalia considers the estate planning, probate, and guardianship cases she’s worked on to be the highlight of her career as they exemplify exactly why she completed her J.D.

When working on a case, Attorney Migdalia Jordan likes to use a dedicated approach that makes it clear to the client that she will work tirelessly and passionately on their behalf.
